Joseph Andrew Clouse was the son of George Clouse and Mary Pflueger. Joseph was born on 28 Mar 1883 in Van Wert, Co., Ohio. By 1900 he was living in Kingfisher County, Oklahoma with his parents. Some time between 1920 and 1930 he moved along with his parents to Polk County, Cove Twp., Arkansas. He was living in Polk County with his parents also on the 1930 census. On his 1942 draft registration he was living in Hatfield, Polk Co., Cove Twp., Arkansas and gave the name Amy Clouse as the person to contact who would know his whereabouts.
