George Washington Clouse was born 18 Feb 1845 in Van Wert County, Liberty Township, Ohio. His parents were George Clouse and Elizabeth Kesler. George was the son of a farming family and worked as a farmer most of his life. He was wed to Mary B. Pflueger 1855-1935 on 29 Nov 1874 in Van Wert County, Ohio.
