Adeline Duncan 1861-1929 Adeline Duncan was the daughter of David Duncan and Susanna Dunham. She was born in Hanover, Jefferson Co., Indiana on 1 Mar 1861. Adeline's parents moved the family to Madisonville, Hamilton County, Ohio about 1866. She was the sister of my g grandfather Oscar Duncan. Adeline married Edward J. Maphet, the son of Andrew J. Maphet and Sarah A. Danhagelly in 1899. Her husband Edward worked in the lumber industry. They were living in Knox County, Tennessee when the 1900 census was taken. They later moved back to the Cincinnati, Ohio area where Adeline's husband died on 26 Jul 1921. Adeline (Duncan) Maphet died on 25 Jan 1929 in Hamilton Co., Ohio. They are both buried in Laurel Cemetery, Madisonville, Hamilton County, Ohio.
