Maudie Marie (Chapman) Hargis 1901-1985, Mary Avonelle (Hargis) Prichard 1914-1996. Maudie was Avonelle's sister-in-law. She married Avonelle's brother Charles Ottis Hargis.
Mary Avonelle Hargis was born 7 Aug 1914 in Rowan, County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of William Norvel Hargis 1869-1946 and Nancy Ethel Gearhart 1871-1959. Norvel and Nancy's other children were Eugena, Charles, Sally, Lottie, Thomas and Jack . Avonelle died in Fayette County, Texas, on 17 Oct 1996.
