Bartholomew (also called Bartley) sailed to
America with his father. In the Pennsylvania Archives, second series, volume 17,
page 86, is a record of the ship "Hope" of London, England; Shipmaster - Daniel
Reid. arrived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on August 28, 1733 Christian was
listed as Cristian Riblet. His wife Catharina, along with her family, Philip
arrived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on September 24, 1737. The ship "Saint
Andrew" departed from Rotterdam, the shipmaster was John Stedman.
The arrival is recorded in the Pennsylvania Archives, second series, volume 17,
page 138. The archive records mentioned above were found at the Carnegie Library
