Henry Swartz born 1770 married Elizabeth Anna
Riblet. Elizabeth was the daughter of Bartholomew RIiblet; she was born in 1776
near Allentown, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. Henry & Elizabeth Swartz lived in
Bedford County, Pennsylvania probably by 1800. According to family story, Henry
& Elizabeth had 8 daughters and 4 sons. Henry & Elizabeth Swartz and five
children moved to Wayne County, Ohio in 1831. Although they had 11 children
which grew to adult hood, I can only name the following children: Robert SWARTZ
born 1816 and William R. SWARTZ born 1820 in Bloody Run, Bedford County, PA.
Robert married Susanna KITCHEN in 1837 in Wayne County, Ohio and William married
Elizabeth Bonewitz in 1842 in Wayne Co, Ohio. I feel certain William was
