This is the building that housed the business of Kohus & Moeller in the 1890's. The business sold Carpets, wall paper, window shades, oil clothes and lace curtains. Oddly enough if you look at the photo section of John William Kohus 1880-1917 you will see a photograph of him sitting in a Model A Packard truck. The background in that photo resembles this location. I believe it to be this building in the background. Notice the balcony with door on second floor on the earlier photograph and look at the first floor of this building where it looks as like a door used to be. John ran a saloon at 1215 Main and Henry B Kohus & Company was located at 431 Main.
