Thomas Post
Thomas Vincent 2, (William 1), b. 15 Sept. 1656; resident of
Edgartown and is called a gunsmith (1689) and a locksmith (1707) ; probably
removed to Norwich, Conn. before 1707, where his wife's family resided. He
married Sarah Post, daughter of Thomas and Mary (Andrews) Post of Norwich about
1676. She was born Nov. 1657. He probably returned to Edgartown and
administration of his estate was granted 4 March 1740, and the inventory of his
estate showed property to value of £240-4-0. They had the following named
children:
1. Abigail,1 b. 1677; m. Nathaniel Pease (64).
2. Thomas, b. 1679.
3. Mary, b. (.1681); m. Ebenezer Cleveland (22).
4. Reuben, b. 1685.
5. Sarah, b. 1688; m. Nathan Pease (100).
6. Nathaniel, b. (1690).
7. Abiah, b. 1692; m. Benjamin Pease (68).
8. Joseph, b. 1698.
9. Mehitable, b. 1701; m. Jethro Dunham (63).
